‘Words and Verse’ is a collection of Ultra_eko’s tracks more firmly rooted in the genre of hip-hop. Ultra_eko is a versatile and experimental artist and enjoys blending genres, working across many different types of sounds, and never be confined to a certain style. Hip-hop, however, is where the foundations of his music lay, the soil from which it all grows.
In this mixtape, he has drawn together fifteen of his favourite hip-hop tracks, made over the last year. Eleven of them come from his last two albums, ‘Off the Grid,’ released back in July of this year, and ‘Alternate Realities’ which was just released on November 16th.
